What is Opratives? +
Opratives is a marketplace that connects hirers — companies and building sites — with tradespeople looking for day-to-day work. Search by trade and location, see who's genuinely available, and hire directly through the app.
How do I find the right tradesperson? +
Search by trade, experience level and location. Results show real-time availability, CSCS card status and ratings, so you can shortlist and hire with confidence.
Is Opratives available on Android? +
Opratives is currently available on iOS, with Android on the way. Drop your number in the contact section and we'll let you know as soon as it's live.
How does hiring actually work? +
Mark candidates yes, no or maybe while you browse — that doesn't notify them. When you're ready, hitting "Hire" sends the operative a direct invite with your job details, and they can accept from their phone.
Are operatives verified? +
Operatives add their trade, experience level and CSCS card to their profile, and build a rating from completed jobs — all visible before you hire.
